Servicing your Timepiece

Luxury watches are a joy to own. However, they also need to be taken care off. Most people tend to think that just because a watch is working fine it does not need a maintenance check. The truth however is completely different. Every luxury watch manufacturer recommend that you service your watch at least once in 3 years to keep it in top working condition. If you live in the UK, you can go through Perpetual Time Reviews ( #perpetualtimereviews ); they will tell you that there is no better place to service it than Perpetual Time.

The step by step process

In order to ensure timely deliveries and ultimate customer satisfaction, Perpetual Time follows a step by step process. To begin with, the watch is registered with their system. This is done for the purpose of insurance. The watch is then carefully examined for any external damage / marks etc, and the customer’s request is noted. The watch is also tested for function.  Once the exterior check is completed the watch is then de-cased – using professional tools of course, to identify the make and model. The movement of the watch is then put into sealed storage and existing seals are removed. New seals are organized accordingly.

The watchmaker now begins to take apart the watch, servicing each and every little part. Once this is done, the watch is reassembled and tested according to its specific resistance levels. The outer finishing touches are added and viola, your watch is as good as new. The time and date are adjusted and the watch is ready to be picked up.
